What? is the fragrance that makes you question whether you are still wearing fragrance at all. Built around ISO E Super, it creates an airy, diffusive aura that can seem to disappear from your own perception while remaining surprisingly noticeable to everyone around you.

That disappearing act is part of what makes What? so unusual. ISO E Super has a smooth, velvety, abstract woody character, but it is also known for the way its perception can seem to come and go. Your nose may quickly become accustomed to it, then suddenly catch it again later. Meanwhile, someone several feet away may still notice the warm, clean trail surrounding you.

The result is less like wearing a traditional perfume and more like carrying a scent aura. Warm woods, soft musk and an almost skin like smoothness seem to hover around the body rather than announce themselves as obvious perfume.

What? can be worn alone, but its simplicity also makes it especially useful as a fragrance booster base.

ISO E Super is an aroma material prized in perfumery for its soft woody scent and diffusive character. Rather than adding a loud new fragrance profile, it can create space and radiance around other materials. When layered beneath another fragrance, What? can help give the overall scent a broader, more expansive presence while adding smooth woody depth.

Think of it less as making every perfume simply “stronger” and more as giving fragrance more atmosphere. Apply What? first, then layer your fragrance over it. The combination may smell smoother, woodier and more diffusive depending on the perfume being layered.

And because your nose can adapt to ISO E Super quickly, not smelling What? strongly on yourself does not necessarily mean it is gone. Its presence may seem to disappear and return throughout the wear while remaining perceptible to people around you.

HOW TO USE

Pump 1 to 2 pumps into the palms of your hands, gently rub together and apply to the body. For targeted application, use a small amount on pulse points such as the wrists, sides of the neck, behind the ears and inside the elbows.

For use as a fragrance booster, apply a small amount of What? first and allow it to settle before applying your perfume. Experiment with placement and amount, since the effect will vary depending on the fragrance layered with it.

We don't recommend concentrating fragrance on the chest. Wearing a strong fragrance directly beneath your nose can make you become accustomed to the scent more quickly, making it seem as though the fragrance has faded even when others can still smell it.

Start small and add more only if desired. Patch test first and avoid the face, eyes and broken or irritated skin.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Add a small amount to a single use portion of unscented body lotion, body cream or shower gel to create your own scented body products. Mix thoroughly and start with less before adding more.
